Discover the thinking
behind the paper craft of
German design duo WRKINSTANT INSPIRATION“We are WRK, a design team made
up of Andrea Weber and Damoun
Tamir. We met at University of Applied
Sciences in Dortmund, Germany, where
we both graduated in 2013, and started
working together the following year.
Our studio creates playful, concept-
driven imagery for advertising and
editorial, making use of a range of
materials and techniques including
paper, papier mâché and food. We
want to make the viewer smile when
they come across our designs.
Our first commission was creating
paper models for GLAMOUR
magazine’s horoscope pages. Back then
we took things rather too seriously! Our
most recent job was for KIA – look out
for our work this summer.
Our Instagram feed is a mix of
commercial work and personal projects.
Sometimes my cat Amy gets involved.
We’re planning to reveal more behind-
the-scene photos, to prove we’re not
two grannies mucking about with
paper, and to show the world how
