VISUAL IDENTITY FOR FILM STREAMING SERVICE

service MUBI to create its new visual identity,
design agency Spin came up with this vivid and
arresting colourscape.
“We are excited by the prospect of working with
MUBI for a variety of reasons,” creative director and
partner Tony Brook told us. “We all love the offer and
the attitude, the best of cool independent films curated
by people who love cinema and have the depth of
knowledge and taste to choose it.”Spin was invited to work with MUBI at a moment
when the company is embarking on a process of
expansion, so its design work had to be flexible so as
to suit these new horizons.
“The creative approach is based around reflecting
MUBI’s vision,” says Brook. “We looked to make a
visual language that develops over time, which is
underpinned by a structure that allows for instant
recognition and has the space for increasing creativity.”SHOWCASE
