Olympus shooters can now expand

their photographic horizons with a new

M.Zuiko  Digital  2x  Teleconverter  MC-20.

This year, medium-format camera

50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 astronauts

issue of D-Photo.

Schools, non-profits, and

community groups also have

a chance to pick up funding

with Canon through the

Oceania  Grants programme,

with three grants of $4K’

worth of gear and $1K in

cash awarded to projects

addressing social and

environmental issues in the

community.

The Auckland Festival of Photography this year presented

the Alex  Mao Photography Award for emerging

photographers under 25 to Auckland secondary-school

student Amie Kaufman.

Amie won the $1200 cash prize with a nicely composed

image, titled Trying to Grow Up, taken in her family’s

Glen Eden back yard.

Alex Mao was a member of the New  Zealand

Chinese Photography Association, and the prize was

established posthumously by his family to encourage

young photographers.

This could be the ideal time to up your
