This does not mean you should be a doormat about
protecting yourself and your loved ones. If you are in
fear of your life, do everything physically and
magickally within your power to eliminate the menace.
Be creative in doing protective spellwork. It is essential
to think through your reasons for doing magick.
Although some rituals will produce immediate results,
most of them will not. It is not uncommon for a spell to
take quite some time to manifest your desire. You will
need to repeat the spell over a period of time, since the
goal is difficult to manifest and must build up the energy
it uses before manifesting. Because of this, many people
who try candle-burning magick do not believe it works.
They see no results in a week or a month and thus give
up. Some spells need several months before their effects
are seen. The time spent in empowering the more
difficult spells over a period of time also gains you the
biggest rewards.
Candle magick is not an instantaneous magick. It will
not solve your problems overnight. However, it is a
powerful tool for manifestation of your desires.
Candles and Colors
When you feel ready to try candle magick, start out with
a small goal that you want to reach. By starting small,
you gain confidence and experience at candle-burning
magick. Use any supplies you have on hand to begin
with, and get acquainted with the procedures in the
rituals. However, it is not a good idea to use candles that
have been burned for any other reason.
