SATAN OR DEVIL-BE-GONE CANDLES This candle is made in the
image of the Christian Devil. It is not for worshipping
this entity, but for performing exorcisms or clearing
houses of negative vibrations or spirits. It is always
burned with an astral candle to represent the person or
persons being harassed. The astral candle must be large
enough to last longer than the Satan candle when
burned.SEPARATION CANDLES This jumbo red candle is completely
dipped in black wax so that all of the red color is
covered. This candle should be used with extreme care
and only after much honest thought, since it separates
one person from the enthrallment or bondage of an
undesirable person. This may be advisable when your
daughter is caught in an intensive abusive relationship
or marriage, or your father or mother are being conned
by a swindler for all of his or her money. The break-up
candle with a snake coiled around it is used for the same
purposes.SEVEN-DAY NOVENA This purchased candle has white or
colored wax poured into a tall, heat-resistant glass
container, often with a picture of a saint on the glass.
However, you can sometimes find these without the
picture. The word novena means "new beginning" in
Latin. You are to write your desire nine times on a piece
of paper and tape it to the candle bottom before
burning, or at least place it under the candle. Certain
saints are called upon for specific help: St. Anthony for a
job; St. Capistrano to repel enemies; St. Jude for any
court troubles; the Sacred Heart for marriage; St. Clara
for any addiction problems, whether alcohol or drugs;
St. Michael for total protection. Sometimes, you can also
buy a seven-color, seven-day novena candle, although
