The element of Fire symbolizes the physical and action.
Some sources say Fire represents spirit.


Autumn is blue and corresponds to the element of
Water and the west. The time period is from the Autumn
Equinox in September until the Winter Solstice in
December. The element of Water symbolizes the
emotions.


Winter is dark green and corresponds to the element
of Earth and the north. The time period is from the
Winter Solstice in December until the Spring Equinox in
March. The element of Earth symbolizes material things.


Basic Elemental Colors

Most world cultures knew of and used the colors and
powers of the elements. However, the placement and
choice of color often differed. The ancient Mayans used:
east, red; south, yellow; west, black; and north, white.
Other ancient Mexican cultures had a different
classification: north, red; west, yellow; south, blue; east,
green; and center, many colors together.


EAST Air; yellow. Knowledge, inspiration, harmony,
herbs, intellect, ideas, travel, freedom, revealing the
truth, finding lost things, movement, and psychic
abilities.


SOUTH Fire; red. Change, freedom, perception, visions,
spiritual illumination, learning, love, will, sexuality,
energy, authority, healing, destruction, and purification.
