Oils
Candles are frequently rubbed with scented oil from
wick to end (to attract something) or from end to wick
(to repel something). As you do this, concentrate on the
purpose you have in mind. Candles can be used with
only the oil, or oil and herbs. If called for, roll the oiled
candle in the appropriate crushed herbs, still thinking of

JUPITER Anise, lime, magnolia, nutmeg, sage, sandalwood.
MARS Allspice, carnation, dragon's blood, ginger,
honeysuckle, peppermint, pine.
MERCURY Bayberry, lavender, lemon grass, lily of the
valley, peppermint.
MOON Coconut, eucalyptus, gardenia, jasmine, lotus,
myrrh, sandalwood, water lily, white rose, wintergreen.
