On this page is a fan chart for Yes/No/Maybe
Yes/Maybe No. I did not mention this chart before as I
feel it is important for a pendulum user to learn the
basics without relying on a chart. I have included this
particular chart to help those beginners who may feel
they do not have what it takes to work with a
pendulum. Such people can start with this chart as an
aid, but I encourage all dowsers to become self-sufficient
and dispense with the use of this particular chart as soon
as possible.


Yes/No/Maybe Chart

To work with the Yes/No/Maybe Yes/Maybe No
chart, hold the pendulum over the center of the flat edge
where all the lines converge. Dowsers call this point the
"hinge." Make certain your question is formulated to
have only one answer. The pendulum then will move
toward the marked segment that it sees as correct.


Sometimes the pendulum will swing in a line between
two segments. If this happens, you must decide if the
question has been formulated properly. If the answer is
questionable, or if you wish further confirmation, ask
the pendulum whether this question can be answered at
all. If it answers Yes, reformulate the question and try
