The Big Little Book of Magick

(Barry) #1

Light two white candles and lay the amulet between
them. Light frankincense incense. Fill a small bowl with
a little water and place a pinch of salt on a saucer. Hold
the amulet in one hand, with your power hand over it.
Chant:

Fire, Water, Earth, and Air, I call upon your powers fair. Empower
this amulet for me. For so I will. So shall it be.

If you make this amulet for another person, be certain
to state: "I bless this amulet for [patient's name]" before
you do the actual blessing.

Quickly pass the amulet in the heat above the candle
flames, then through the incense smoke. Sprinkle a few
grains of salt on the amulet; tip the salt back onto the
saucer. Sprinkle a few drops of water onto the amulet
from the bowl. The amulet is now ready to wear.

The following list of amulets will help you decide
which ones a sick person may wish to wear or carry.
