beauty and for their power. Some of the stones you
might choose are moss agate, amazonite, amber,
amethyst, aquamarine, beryl, bloodstone, carnelian,
chrysocolla, citrine, emerald, fluorite, garnet, hematite,
jade, jasper, lapis lazuli, malachite, tourmaline, or
turquoise.
Incense (also see this page) will raise the vibrations in
any room or house. Examples of healing incenses are
carnation, cedar, cinnamon, gardenia, lavender, lotus,
myrrh, orange, rose, and sandalwood. When in doubt,
use a blend of frankincense and myrrh, frequently
available in stick form. Sticks or cones are fine.
If you choose to burn candles on your altar, you can
use either the glass-contained seven-day candles, or six-
inch straights in fireproof holders (also see this page).
Seven-day candles usually come in green, blue, or white.
These glass-contained candles are meant to be burned
steadily for seven days, beginning the day after the new
moon. If you can't start a seven-day candle just after the
new moon, be certain that you start burning it so it will
burn out by the full moon exactly, not a day later.
Candles always represent spiritual enlightenment.
The skull candle is another powerful healing candle
that some people refuse to use because they don't
understand its meaning. Burn one of these for healing
serious, deadly, or terminal diseases. It is best burned
along with a white candle.
