Asian Colors

The Chinese have five elements—Wood, Fire, Earth,
Metal, and Water. Their interpretation of color meanings
is also different from those in the West. They placed
green in the east for spring and the elements of Wood;
red in the south for Fire and summer; white in the west
for Metal and autumn; black in the north for Water and
winter; and yellow in the center for Earth.
With feng shui (the art of placement) such a popular
practice, you might be interested in utilizing Asian
