Apple Music hits
60 million subscriber mark Apple Music
That’s still some way short of Spotify’s reported worldwide 100
million subscriber base, but it does go to show that Apple Music
continues to go from strength to strength. In fact, Apple Music
has more paid subscribers than Spotify in the US, with recent reports listing
Apple Music with 28 million paid users compared to Spotify’s 26 million.
The news was broken by Eddie Cue, Apple’s SVP of Services, in a series of
interviews with French media. He confirmed that the total did include free
trialists, and he went on to say that Apple Music’s radio station Beats 1 had
over 10 million listeners.
Apple has announced a voluntary recall
of a number of older generation 15-inch
MacBook Pro units which contain a battery
that may overheat. The units were sold primarily
between September 2015 and February 2017. In a
statement, Apple says: “To confirm which model you
have, choose About This Mac from the Apple menu
in the upper-left corner of your screen. If you have
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, mid 2015), enter your
computer’s serial number on the program page to see if
it is eligible for a battery replacement.” You should visit
