ew location settings will allow
you to limit how apps track
your movements throughout
each day. The ability to allow tracking
on only one occasion is present, which
is ideal for apps that you very rarely use.
Furthermore, iOS 13 will, from time to
time, display a location tracking reminder
which also visually displays how you are
being tracked by a particular app. From
this panel you can then change the setting
to ‘Only while using’ which could save
you some battery life in the future and, of
course, add a little more privacy to your
daily existence.
Family hotspot
On the flip side you can share more in iOS
13 thanks to the family hotspot sharing
feature. With this enabled, those in your
family group can automatically connect to
your hotspot when they do not have an
internet connection present. You will need
to be mindful of the limits your mobile
provider had added to your account when
doing this, but it will save a lot of setting
up if your children are constantly nagging
you because they cannot connect to
the internet. As an added bonus, your
other devices, including Macs and iPads,
can also automatically use your enabled
hotspot to connect to the internet when
they would otherwise be offline. Both of
these features will be commonly used.
