IFYOUAREunfamiliarwithThinkrollgames–

andtherehavebeenmany– thenyou’remissing

out.Colourful,funnyandverychild-friendly,

theyinvolvemanipulatinga castofcharacters

intostrategicpositionstosolvepuzzles.Every

puzzleconsistsofguidingthemainThinkball

intoa keyandthenintotheexit,buttheroute

is seldomstraightforwardandyoumustswipe

androllthesupportingcastintoareaswhere

theirstrengthscanbeexploitedtocreatea

manageablepathforourhero,whocanrolland

rollonly.

Throughoutyourquesttoconquerthe200-

pluslevelsonofferyoucanpickupstarsand

hearts,whichyoucanusetounlockupto 24

differentalienThinkrolls – this version of the

gameis setinspace,after all. It’s good fun,

althoughthelearningcurve is so damn chilled

thatit takesa fewworlds to really get going. A

tapofthesettingsiconreveals that there is a

‘Hard’difficultyforpeople over the age of eight,

butthesesupposedlymore taxing levels are

equallyaspedestriantobegin with.

Thisisn’treallya disson the quality of

ThinkrollsSpace,asit is fabulously entertaining,

butthedifficultycouldbe ramped right up and

it wouldstillbeincredibly hard to put down.

Asit happens,it wasn’tuntil the sixth planet of

levelsthatwehadtostop, scratch our head and

figureoutwhattodo.
