Apple’s special edition 2nd generation iPod nano was created to benefit

(RED), the brand-licensing company set up by U2’s Bono and activist

Bobby Shriver to fight against AIDS in Africa by getting the world’s most

iconic companies to make uniquely branded products. Clad in a red

exterior and available as a 4GB model, customer demand was high and

$10 of every sale went to (RED)’s cause. An 8GB model was released

the following month and special (RED) editions of popular Apple

products are still being released, including the iPhone XR (PRODUCT)

RED that came out last autumn.
