thecorewritingexperiencevarieswidelybetweenapps,
aseachdeveloperessentiallyhastocomeupwith its
ownwayofimplementingthePencil’smovements.
Onlyafewapps–Notability,inparticular– manageto
recreatethefeelingofwritingwitha realpenaswell
as Appledoes.
We’ll have to wait for updates of those apps to
seehowwellPencilKitworksinpractice,butApple’s
newAPIcouldinfluenceourrecommendations.In
most cases, as Apple said in its PencilKit presentation,PencilKit will make third-
party apps more appealing
than they already are
