„ INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY


Companies use different strategies to produce products and
services that enable them to compete in the global
marketplace. These strategies include multinational strategies,
global strategies, transnational strategies, strategic alliances,
and hybrid strategies. Nonetheless, world-class workforces are
required with all of these strategies. Human resource
management must be able to identify sources of such labor and
plan its use. Even with alliances, human resource management
input is critical for both strategy formulation and
implementation.^38
