Catherine Cacho-Leary
Visiting AssistAnt Professor
B.A., Dance, The George Washington University;
M.B.A., Public Administration, Keller Graduate
School of Management; Cacho-Leary worked in
the Finance Department at Dia Art Foundation and
served as financial and administrative consultant
for QIIQ Productions, a literacy-based youth theater
organization. She also worked as a budget analyst at
Brooklyn Academy of Music and was instrumental in
restructuring and advancing the internal operations
of the Finance Department. After earning her
undergraduate degree in dance, she studied at The
Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She is the founder
of Community Arts Works, an arts management
company that provides arts management services
and brings a broader understanding of business to
emerging performing arts organizations.

management, facilitation, consulting and coaching
services to arts and cultural organizations.
Vida Schreibman

Schreibman is the director of Cultural Destinations,
NYC. She is a specialist in customized art tours,
adult art education programs, and advisory services
for corporate, philanthropic, academic and
alumni organizations.
Christopher Shrum

M.A., Public Administration, New York University;
Shrum is the Director of Community Services for
Eastern Maine Development Corporation in Bangor,
Maine. His background includes community economic
development, healthcare, tourism, and the arts. He
served as a fellow at the National Endowment for
the Arts in policy, planning, and research focusing his
attention on public participation patterns in the arts.
Denise Tahara

Tahara is an independent consultant working with
not-for-profit organizations in a variety of industries to
improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of their
service delivery systems.
