will want to use a sweeter, softer, more forgiving light source like a Chimera
OctaPlus 57 or a large Chimera Super Pro Plus softbox. If my subject is a
nineteen-year-old model with a clean, smooth complexion, then I could easily
use any large or small modifier without any real worries. If my subject is forty-
four years old, and the shot calls for contrast, and the location has low ceilings,LIGHT MODIFIERS 83Jennifer was illuminated using a
medium Chimera Super Pro Plus soft-
box fitted with a custom panel that
masks off most of the softbox ex-
cept for a 24-inch circular opening.
This was powered by a Hensel Inte-
gra 500 Pro Plus monolight. A black
scarf was placed in front of the lens.
