There are tests available to determine if a person has taken drugs, however
those tests are not foolproof. There is a chance that the results will be a false pos-
itive or false negative.
Commonly abused drugs fall into one of five groups. These are heroin, cocaine,
cannabis, hallucinogens, and inhalants. Although many of the drugs that are in
these groups are illegal in the United States, some of them are legal in other
countries.
