LEADERS ARE

PROPHETIC

“He gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists,
and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service,
so that the body of Christ may be built up...”
(Eph. 4:11-12).

From the above verses, we can clearly see that the role of prophet is one of
the five-fold leadership gifts Christ gave to His Church. While not every
church leader is called to be a prophet, every authentic leader, sacred or
secular, has a prophetic dimension to his life and leadership.

It is a vision that causes a leader to be prophetic by nature. A prophet is a
person who sees what other people do not...cannot...or will not see. That
prophetic insight into the future may be either natural or supernatural in
origin, as we will shortly see. Either way, prophetic insight always calls for
a major paradigm shift in people’s thinking and living – beginning with the
leader!

Principle:
“Prophetic insight always calls for a major paradigm
shift in people’s thinking and living beginning with
the leader.”
