■ ■ ■ (^) SMOOTHIE WITH ALMONDS
Blueberries are packed with potent antioxidants, and have been shown
to improve learning and memory in laboratory animals. Perhaps the best
reason of all to eat them is that they’re delicious, especially when com-
bined with almonds.
SERVES 2
2 scoops whey protein powder
1 teaspoon flax oil
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup raw almonds
(^1) ⁄ 2 cup frozen blueberries
16 ounces pure water
(^1) ⁄ 4 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix all the ingredients in a blender and serve.

Don’t wait for special occasions to eat lobster. It’s light, delicious, and
very satisfying.
SERVES 2
Leftover lobster, cut into bite-sized pieces (see Lobster Tails with Seaweed Salad,
page 222)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
(^1) ⁄ 2 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup chopped celery
