frieze, the sides with geometric marquetry, mounted with foliate cast encadre-
ments headed by floral chutes and ending in leaf tip cast sabot mounted feet.

with cobalt enameled Roman numerals and an Arabic numeral subsidiary sec-
onds dial, twin playful figure of Amorinis, one holding a rose in one hand and in
the other, a petal, both figures leaning against the drum case, all raised on a cast
foliage atop a shaped rectangular base and scroll volute feet. Japy Freres stamp

an integrated draped and tasseled swag surround
above a frieze with floral swag mounts, each taper-
ing circular leg with inlaid fluted banding headed in a
leafy Corinthian capital mount ending in gilt sabot
cups, the front with a convex frieze drawer and a
ribbon and tassel tied lock plate mount, the back
with a faux drawer facade, the drawer lockplate
stamped “MON. KRIEGER AMEUBLEMENT”
