Dutch Floral Marquetry Dressing Table
Early 20th Century
The oval mirror supported by lyre shape supports inlaid with trailing floral
boughs, over the outswept bombe top with an flowering urn with faux lion’s
head masks flanked by twin love birds enclosed by scrolling acanthus leaves, over
two side by side drawers and scalloped bombe apron with conforming floral
inlay, raised on cabriole legs with barber pole banding, ending in leafy sabot
mounts.

Third Quarter 19th Century
The black slate quarter columnar drum form case cast with twin rouge griotte
spandrels, surmounted by an ebonized bust of female in Renaissance style cos-
tume, the ebonized patinated dial with gilt inscribed Roman numerals within a
glazed panel door, raised on antheniom leaf spandrel feet; en suite with a pair of
conforming decorated five light candelabra.
Height of clock 20 1/2 inches (52 cm); height of candelabra 23 1/2 inches (59.6 cm)

Each cylindrical form painted with stylized floral designs in a
palette of yellow, cobalt blue, green and purple, fitted with
pewter lids and sphere form thumbpieces, two of the steins
featuring stylized tulip, spongeware and diaper panels; a third
titled Aufdein Wohlseyn.
Height of tallest 9 1/2 inches (24.1 cm).
