The sterling silver lorgnette measuring approximate-

ly 10 x 1 x 1/2 inches, the two eye lenses swivel out

from a top rivet, the casing features a pierced, open

work appliqué, on one side depicting bamboo

branches; a frog on leaves and a spider, the other

side two starfish species; a gecko on foliage and a fly.

The wide tapered handle accented and bordered by

fan, scroll and garland motifs, featuring a pierced,

open work appliqué on one side depicting a wasp; a

dragonfly and a beetle all on foliage, the other side

features an eagle and a butterfly on foliage.

Note: One lense is cracked.
