Rectangles and cubes have special formulas that can be shortcuts:
Volume of a right rectangular prism = (length) (width) (height) = lwh
Volume of a right cube = s^3 ore^3
(where sor eequals the side length)
l = w= h= s= e
(where sequals side and eequals edge)
Volume of other right prisms = (area of base) (height)
