should notice how the following rule was observed in this rotation:
When preimage point B(x, y) is rotated 90 ̊ clockwisearound the origin,
the image point will be B'(y, –x).
Tranforming Polygons
You have seen a few examples of entire polygons undergoing transforma-
tions. To reflect, translate, or rotate an entire polygon, apply the appropri-
ate transformation rule to each individual coordinate pair in the polygon,
as was done to ΔKAY earlier in this chapter.
