(Jacob Rumans) #1
Now you can practice classifying triangles!

Set 23

State the name of the triangle based on the measures given. Remember
that many triangles can have more than one classification. If the infor-
mation describes a figure that cannot be a triangle, write, “Cannot be a
triangle.” It will be helpful to draw the information you are given.

  1. ΔBDE, where BD= 17, BE= 22, ∠D = 47°, and ∠B = 47°.

  2. ΔQRS, where m∠R = 94°, m∠Q = 22° and m∠S = 90°.

  3. ΔWXY, where WX= 10, XY= 10, YW= 10, and
    m∠X = 90°.

  4. ΔPQR, where m∠P = 31° and m∠R = 89°.

  5. ΔABD, where AB= 72, AD= 72 and m∠A = 90°.

  6. ΔTAR, where TA= 20, AR= 24, and TR= 44.

  7. ΔDEZ, where m∠1 = 60° and m∠2 = 60°.

  8. ΔCHI, where m∠1 = 30°, m∠2 = 60° and m∠3 = 90°.

  9. ΔJMR, where m∠1 = 5°, m∠2 = 120° and m∠3 = 67°.

  10. ΔKLM, where KL= LM= MK.
