THE LIST

BEST HARDWARE AT CES 2022

RAZER
ENKI PRO
HYPERSENSE
That’s right, it is a
gaming chair with haptic
feedback. Razer’s Enki
Pro Hypersense will
vibrate along when
playing games and
music via a haptic engine
concealed in the base.
The chair is made from
sustainable synthetic
leather and has an RGB
Razer logo embedded
into the headrest.

NOVETO N
It’s a soundbar, Jim, but not as we know it.
Noveto’s N1 uses clever ultrasonic tech and head-
tracking to beamform two ‘pockets’ of 3D audio around
your ears, with anyone sitting nearby barely hearing a
thing. Could this be the start of a revolution
that puts traditional headsets
in the dirt?

LENOVO THINKBOOK PLUS GEN 3
A productivity laptop
with a twist—an 8-inch LCD
screen beside its keyboard.
There’s a hidden slot for
a smart stylus, allowing
the busy professional to
engage in multitasking.
It’s also the first laptop
to feature a 21:
ultra-wide main
display.

ALIENWARE CONCEPT NYX
A powerhouse PC purpose-built for cloud-based
gaming, Dell’s newest concept product is the Nyx.
Dell claims it can enable high-end gaming sessions on
any screen in your home by acting as a central server
from which up to four games can be streamed at once.

ASUS ZENBOOK
17 FOLD
Foldable phones are so last
year—2022 is the year of
the foldable laptop. The
Zenbook 17 Fold can be
configured for either
a 17.3-inch or 12.5-inch
display and comes with
a slick, detachable
keyboard. No,
we don’t
know how
expensive
it’s going to be,
nor how breakable.

TP-LINK ARCHER AXE200 OMNI
‘Mecha-powered WiFi’ is the future, apparently.
TP-Link’s latest is a tri-band router with four antennas
that use tiny motors to rotate and angle themselves
towards connected devices to ensure optimal
performance, regardless of positioning. It’s oddly
adorable to watch it track a phone around a room.
