MOTHERBOARD

MSI MAG B560M

Mortar WIFI Micro

ATC $

These budget-friendly B560M
boards have been hard to come
by recently. In fact, it was easier
to get our hands on multiple
Z690 boards than this MSI mobo.
Anyway, this budget-orientated
motherboard has plenty of
connectivity options that suits
our build. The board has WiFi
6E and a 2.5G LAN port to offer
decent internet connectivity. It
also has an available PCIe 4.
x16 slot ready for a GPU at a later
date, but for now, we’ll be using
the integrated graphics with
our Comet Lake chip. The MAG
B560M MORTAR is a decent-
looking board, with a crisp silver
and black design, and looks good
in our build. msi.com

MEMORY

16GB (2x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance

LPX DDR4-3200 CL16 $

With our board supporting memory capable
of 5,066 MT/s, we are undercooking it
with this Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM.
However, if you had RAM fast enough and
were pushing it to its max, it’s fair to say
you probably wouldn’t be pairing it with
this mobo anyway. Regardless, the 16GB

of 3200MHz should be more than speedy
enough for this sub-$600 build, so it’s a
good fit with the rest of the components.
These might not be the best-looking
sticks, but they are discrete enough to add
to the board and not distract from the silver
sharp lines of that B560M mobo. corsair.com
