Acknowledgements
The Scranton School District Secondary Mathematics Committee was charged with updating the
Scranton School District’s secondary mathematics curriculum. The committee revised the Mathematics
Curriculum Pathways, selected new mathematics textbooks for grades seven, eight, Algebra I,
Geometry, and Algebra II/Trigonometry (including Algebra II), and developed the Scranton School
District Curriculum Guides in Mathematics for the state tested content areas (both currently tested and
proposed).
