No. 975 is a 1250°F, electrically heated cabinet oven that can be
used to heat metal parts. It has workspace dimensions measuring
50 inches wide x 50 inches deep x 50 inches high, and 160 kW
are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular elements to heat the
oven chamber. A 6,000-CFM, 5-HP recirculating blower provides
horizontal airflow to the workload. The oven has 10-inch insulated
walls comprising 2 inches of 1900°F
block insulation and 8 inches f
rockwool insulation. Controls
include a digital indicating
temperature controller
and manual reset excess
