If you have been wanting to try PanPastel®, here are
opportunities. Enid is an experienced and gentle teacher.
Classes are informal and supportive. All experience levels
welcome. PanPastels® and Pastelbord will be supplied. Please
bring your own subject matter, so that you will be painting
something that has meaning for you. You may bring your own

July 15-16, 2019, Round Top, Texas. PanPastel® Adventure
2-day workshop in a beautiful gallery, halfway between
Houston and Austin. Students will experiment with
PanPastels® to block in the major shapes and values in a
painting. We will also explore the use of PanPastels® for
adding texture and modifying color temperature. Finally, we
will use PanPastels® and Sofft® Tools applicators to create
an entire painting. 9:30am to 4:30pm $300. All materials
supplied. Bring your own subject matter. Optional: a portable
easel, a few pastel sticks, and a set of pastel pencils.

August 5, 2019, Bastrop, Texas. Still Life and Florals in
PanPastel®, Afternoon workshop at the beautiful new Lost
Pines Art Center in Bastrop, TX, just half an hour east of the
Austin airport. Students will use PanPastels® for local color
and values, and add details afterwards with pastel sticks and
pastel pencils. $65. All materials supplied. Bring a battery-
powered light and your subject matter. Optional: a portable
easel, a few pastel sticks, and a set of pastel pencils.

November 15, 2019, Bastrop, Texas. PanPastel®
Underpainting for Land, Sea & Sky. Afternoon workshop at
Lost Pines Art Center. $65. Bring your own reference photos, a
portable easel if you have one, along with a few pastel sticks
and pastel pencils. Carbothello recommended. This workshop
is in conjunction with Enid’s November 2019 exhibition at
Gallery of the Pines at Lost Pines Art Center. Students will use
PanPastels® to block in color and values for a landscape,
seascape, or cloudscape painting, using Sofft® Tools
applicators for details.
