6 - 12 months (depending on exact method of production) for hemp
seed and soft hulled hemp seed bars / sprouted breads and other
products that have been cooked at low temperatures for short
period, stored in a cool, dark place.
1 - 3 months for roasted hemp seeds (the fresher the better).
5 - 7 days for freshly baked hemp flour based bread.
24 - 48 hours for freshly produced and untreated organic milk.
24 hours for other cooked hemp foods such as Hemp Jamaican
Patties, cooked for over 20 minutes above 105°F, then stored
refrigerated (See Section Two). Leftover food, no matter whether it
is organic or recently picked from the garden, loses nutritional
values through the oxidation process, that starts about two
minutes after processing.
Out of light, heat and oxygen, by far the greatest destructive agent
is light because it produces free radicals in oils. Oxygen is a major
cause of rancidity and the scratchy taste left at the back of your
mouth. Try some really fresh oil, or some oil packaged in a
transparent bottle that is just six month old.
