to find ways to keep our minds away from our true selves,
watching TV, reading books, surfing the internet, going to bar or
eating a new exotic food. All of these actions are beneficial to us
on some level. It is when they become habitual, without
awareness that they start to work against us. If this is near the
source of our habits, then it is time to attempt to slow down and
become more aware and conscious of the effects of one’s action
carried out as a habit.


I find meditation helps me slow down the whirlwind of my
mind, which in turn helps me improve my diet and surprisingly to
attain more time for projects during the day. Finding my goal and
focusing my recently found energy has slowed my mind from its
regular ramblings. The operative words being ‘me’ and ‘my’, as it
is me and only who chooses and is responsible for the direction
my health, energy and enjoyment of like take. By reading this far
you have already chosen to take such an interest for yourself.
Make is conscious part of your life, and choose to be happy. Visit
the recipe section, let it inspire you to make something you feel
like, or follow a meditation, do some yoga or just relax with some
soft classical music. Whatever you do, do it yourself.

Following are some often felt food cravings and some
suggested substitutes. Avoiding onions and raw garlic helps
reduce craving for heavy and unnecessary foods.
