Acid-Alkaline
Balance
To maintain health our blood needs to be slightly alkaline. The
mineral content of foods affect the acid or alkaline balance. To
keep bodily fluctuations at a minimum it is best to eat food that is
mildly acidic or mildly alkaline. Acid-forming foods are not the
same as acid tasting foods such as oranges or lemons which
contain cleansing organic acids that do not create an acid
condition in our system.
