living or working in an artificial environment, wearing tight man-
made clothing, eating too much too often or consumption of
processed foods, drink or drugs, over indulgence in any sensual
cravings, tensions and bad mental attitude are just some
examples of what Naturecure terms as unhygienic living. Through
the methods of Naturecure, in the progress back to health, the
suppressed diseases of the past may and often do return, in the
reverse order. This is clear evidence that those post diseases
were not cured, but only suppressed earlier by the drug system or
our mind.
The health of the mind will affect our physical or spiritual
health if ignored. An unhealthy mind is considered to be a mind
that craves sensual pleasures. There are ways to reach mental
purity similar to that experienced during sleep. To obtain or
recover health, one must cultivate peace of mind as far as
possible. The mind usually enjoys extremes. A great simile is the
pendulum that cannot remain at rest -swinging from one extreme
to the other, too much or too little. The point of rest is where hope
and fear, the two extremes, neutralise each other. The aim is to
keep the mind in this middle point, the Tibetan middle way, as
much as possible. First it is suffice to say that 'meditation' as such
is far more useful than the use of psychologists.

Naturecurists confer that food and physical energy are not as
related as scientists would have us believe. These scientists have
developed a calorie theory of food that is meekly accepted as the
gospel truth. Calorie is a term taken from physics, signifying a unit
of heat. It is assumed that food has to be burnt in the body to
make energy available for use by its owner. As the physical
energy released during the burning up of one calorie of heat is
scientifically known, where inert bodies are concerned, it has been
taken for granted that the same standard can be applied to the
human body. This is precisely where the fallacy of all this
reasoning comes in, and where the 'energy from food' theory
breaks down.
