The daily recommended intake of LA is between 3% and 6% of
total calorific intake. This equates to 9 to 18 grams, depending on
individual requirements. One 9bar (contains over 11g of LA. In
keeping with the 3:1 ratio (LA:LNA), LNA intake should be about
1% to 2% of total calories, or 3 to 6 grams. 200g of Sunnyvale’s
(organic hemp sprouted bread contains nearly 10g of LA and 3g of
LNA.


It takes the consumption of approximately 3kg seeds or 1
pint of hemp oil (in one sitting) of the highest varieties to cause
any intoxicating effects. You are likely to be sick first, so don’t try
it. 5mg or TetraHydraCanibinol is the quantity generally
recognized by scientific studies to indicate the maximum single
dosage of hemp’s active ingredient without causing intoxicating
effects. Based on an average person weighing 150 lbs you would
have to ingest:



  • 1 pint of hemp oil containing 10ppm THC or

  • 2.5 kilograms (5 lbs) of hempseed containing 2ppm THC


Even for an avid hemp food face such as myself, this is
impractical.
