ngan, am, ngam). Perhapswe may also compare at, "the sun
hiddenby clouds,""clouded" ; at, " hidden " (NGAJ) ■ and ai, " the
heavens covered and adorned withclouds," " a cloudy but bright
sky"; ai, " cloudy," " the sky covered withclouds" (AI). Underthe
sameheadwe have ai, "beautiful andluxuriantvegetation;" much
as in Accadian, anameansalso" ear of corn," and " twig or branch "
