  1. Laurentianus pluteus VIII. 22 (DL), paper, XIV. century, preserves three
    mixed recensions of the Sacred Parallels arranged alphabetically accord­
    ing to authors cited. The first (fols. 46-73) is derived from a recension
    represented by nos. 58, 59, 60, and a recension represented by no. 57;
    the second is another mixed recension (fols. 1-45). Fols. 126-188 pre­
    serve the third mixed rescension.

    folios, IX. century, uncial, beautifully written, rubricated tides, minia­
    ture portraits of saints and others, including about forty-five of Philo,
    script retraced in places, specimen of codex in Harris, no. 12, some
    leaves missing. It preserves a recension of the Sacred Parallels similar to

  6. Vaticanus gr. 1236 (Dv), paper, XV. century, preserves the "Vatican" re­
    cension of the Sacred Parallels. It gathers the three books into one book,
    as also nos. 54 and 56. Lequien's edition of the Sacred Parallels of John
    Damascene was taken from this codex with additions from no. 57. Less
    ample than no. 57.
