CODICES containing the Catenae on the Octateuch.
In the Catenae on the Octateuch ('EKAoyal clc OKTareuxov), i.e. Genesis to
Ruth, the extracts from Philo are distributed as follows: more than ten on
Genesis from QG, more than ten on Exodus from QE and Mos., i, three
on Numbers from Mos., iii, one on Deuteronomy from QE. On the follow­
ing pages only the manuscripts on the Octateuch which contain the Philo ex­
tracts are listed; there are many others which do not contain them. The classi­
fication of the codices is taken from the work of Karo and Lietzmann on the
