What To Do:



  1. Assemble equipment:

  2. Prep area.

  3. Each digit is supplied with two pairs of nerves: dorsal and palmar in the hand, and dorsal and plantar
    in the foot.

  4. Insert the needle in the dorsal aspect of the digit at the level of the metacarpal (metatarsal) head.

  5. Advancing the needle in the palmar (plantar) direction, inject 1-2 mls of local anesthetic on each side
