The next stage

With your essay completed, along with the reference list and bibliog-
raphy, it’s time to put it aside for a day or two, so that you can come
back with a fresh mind to revise it.
In the next stage you will learn how to revise your essay without
killing off your most creative ideas and without breaking up the fluency
of your prose. Indeed, you will see how effective revision can be in
giving your work the sort of polish that elevates your essay from being
just a good piece of work into one that is interesting and thought
provoking.
