ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sam A. A. Kubba, Ph.D., is an award-winning architect whose practice includes projects in the United
States, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. He has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects
of design, construction, and property condition assessments. A member of the American Institute of Archi-
tects, the American Society of Interior Designers, and the Royal Institute of British Architects, he has
lectured widely on architecture, interior design, and construction. Dr. Kubba is the principal partner of The
Consultants’ Collaborative, a firm noted for its work in architecture, interior design, and project manage-
ment. He is also the author of several books, including Mesopotamian Furniture,Space Planning for Com-
