Using Guile for the Sake of the World
The teenage Joseph developed a penchant for guile unlike any other boy of his age.
His developing brain allowed him to understand and use deception, manipulation, and
cunning unlike any before or after him, although it was used mainly for the benefit or desire
of others. Joseph’s guile came from the aspect of his firsthand knowledge that there actually
were advanced human beings monitoring and interacting in the affairs of this earth—
secretly, without divulging the truth of their existence. Again, it is with profound irony and
some sense of humor that Joseph thus joined our advanced monitors in their craft when
asked to aid them in their dealings with mortals—for the sake of mortals. Joseph had to
learn to do what they do in the way in which they do it.^26
Joseph was instructed with caring simplicity and on a level that a teenage mortal
messenger could understand. He knew what the purpose of life upon the earth was all
about. He understood why the human race was not allowed to know anything outside of
what they experience during their mortal lives. He understood it as well as most teenagers
do at any age: they understand and conclude that every adult in their world is completely
ignorant when it comes to real truth. The ignorance of the adults justifies why teenagers
think they know it all. They have a valid reason to question an adult’s wisdom and to think
that they, as teens, know what is best for them, and that no adult understands them.
Nevertheless, IF there was an adult around who actually knew real truth and could
explain things so that they made sense, then the teenage mind might not be so arrogant.
After his first visitation, the young Joseph’s brain was imprinted and aligned perfectly with
these characteristically normal teenage attitudes and propensities; only in his case,
arrogance was replaced by confidence because he knew that he knew more than any mortal
adult. He had been taught by an advanced adult who knew all the correct answers. So it was,
in the meantime—between the first visitation and his advancing teenage years—that the
young Joseph began to learn how to use pure knowledge intermixed with guile in his
dealings with mortal adults.
Preparing to “Fight the Enemy”
The next time Joseph was visited by an advanced human, he was almost 18 years old
and thus, at the end of the most crucial brain-developmental stage of his life. The three years
following the First Visitation and prior to this second meeting with an advanced being were
essential in the development of his personality. In the initial meeting with Joseph, Christ set
the stage for what was expected of him. Through simple statements about what advanced
human monitors had done in helping establish America and what they were doing
throughout the world at the time, Joseph learned about his role as the “latter-day Moses.”
Any teenager’s mind is going to be greatly affected after being chosen by a
supernatural being. Joseph’s self-confidence couldn’t have been made any stronger. And
even though he didn’t understand exactly what becoming a “Moses” entailed, it still
intrigued him and justified the sense of personal value that all teenagers long for. In his
mind, he was asked to become a secret agent for the most powerful “crime”-fighting
organization in the Universe—a dream of most teenage boys. And to become such an agent
of real truth, Joseph would need training—lots of training!^27
Joseph’s mother later reported in her biography that Joseph “had never read the Bible
through in his life.”^28 She remembered this only from a time in their lives when they were
