Without Disclosing My True Identity

were the descendants of the Book of Mormon people (the American Indians), about
whom the book was written. He tried to teach them what the term “Zion” actually meant
by retranslating the first part of the Bible and having it describe the type of people that
represented the true Zion^10 —a people of one heart and one mind, who dwelt in
righteousness, having no poor among them. He tried to teach them that the words of
Isaiah were almost always speaking in messianic terms, mostly concerning the time when
Christ would return to the earth and finally establish the true Zion. He tried to explain that
the only way they could get Christ to come sooner was for them to establish the true Zion
upon the earth to show that it could be done without his direct intervention; and thus he
revealed the meaning of the Lord “cutting his work short in righteousness.”^11
On many occasions he would focus his followers on the Book of Mormon passages
that related directly to them, “the Gentiles, they of whom [Isaiah] has written”:

And blessed are the Gentiles, they of whom the prophet has written; for
behold, if it so be that they shall repent and fight not against Zion and do not
unite themselves to that great and abominable church, they shall be saved;
for the Lord God will fulfil [sic] his covenants which he has made unto his
children; and for this cause the prophet has written these things.^12

The LDS/Mormon people who claim to have accepted the Book of Mormon never did
repent. They continually “fight against Zion,” even today. They cannot be of “one heart and
one mind”^13 when they are continually engaged in contentions, questions, and arguments
about priesthood blessings, gifts of the Spirit, ordinances, and other things that they cannot
understand, but which have nothing to do with creating peace upon earth (“Zion”—the
kingdom of God on earth as it is heaven). They have failed to understand or live the United
Order so that there are no poor among them.
And every one of the most prominent members, especially the LDS/Mormon
leaders, has “unite[d] themselves to that great and abominable church” in their desires for
“the gold, and the silver, and the silks, and the scarlets, and the fine-twined linen, and the
precious clothing.”^14 They have not and will not ever be blessed with peace, equality, and
the promise of Zion being established among them and the Lord dwelling in their midst,
unless they learn to live the “fullness of the everlasting Gospel delivered by the Savior.”^15

Joseph’s View of the Priesthood

Nothing is as important to LDS/Mormon men as their belief that they can hold the
ONLY true priesthood of God, which allows them to literally act in God’s name upon the
earth. Both the men and the women believe that if God would do anything upon the earth, it
would ONLY be through the lines of LDS/Mormon priesthood authority. This delusional
cognitive paradigm is what causes other sincere, honest, and reflective human beings to fear
the LDS/Mormon mentality. BUT JOSEPH SMITH NEVER TAUGHT THIS PARADIGM OF
EXCLUSIVITY—NEVER—NOT ONCE! Of course, the modern LDS/Mormon people would
not know this, because they are conditioned only to accept what their priesthood leaders tell
them, which is what they believe God would have them know.
The importance of how, when, where, and why the priesthood authority started and
evolved in the LDS Church is paramount to understanding the religion itself. For this
important purpose, a full appendix on the priesthood is given at the end of this book (see
