Without Disclosing My True Identity

Elohim tells Adam and Eve that, if they partake of the Tree of Knowledge of Good
and Evil, they “shall surely die.” Lucifer knew that God was withholding the truth, and then
tells Adam and Eve that eating the fruit will “make you wise.”^9 Adam says that he will not
eat the fruit because “Father told me that in the day that I should partake of it I shall surely
die.” Lucifer responds, “You shall not surely die, but shall be as the Gods, knowing good
and evil.”^10
Lucifer also tells the real truth to Eve:

I want you to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, that
your eyes may be opened, for that is the way Father gained his knowledge. You
must eat of this fruit so as to comprehend that everything has its opposite.^11

Eve, the female, figures it all out. She finally realizes that God had lied to them and
that her “brother,” Lucifer, was telling her the truth that she needed to know. So she ate the
fruit and her eyes were opened; and thus she became “wise, knowing good from evil.”
So who was lying? God or Lucifer? We can see that it was God who was lying—but
to what end? According to the code of humanity by which Elohim lives, he could not
command Adam and Eve to do something that would bring immediate misery upon them;
therefore, his command—without telling them the real truth—was simply, “I forbid it.”
Later, in the symbolic presentation of real truth, God confronts Lucifer for telling the real
truth to Adam and Eve that countered the lies that God had told them, saying, “Lucifer,
what hast thou been doing here?”
Lucifer replies, “I have been doing that which has been done in other worlds.”^12
Elohim replies, “And what is that?” (As if he didn’t already know.)
Lucifer says, “I have been giving some of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good
and Evil to them.”^13 Then God condemns Lucifer for telling Adam and Eve the real truth;
and Lucifer complains that God has condemned him for telling the real truth.
What does all of this mean? It means that our entire mortal existence is, in a sense, a
divinely perpetuated “lie,” orchestrated by advanced human beings so that we can gain
experience that provides a contrast to our existence as the perfected, advanced, completely
honest human beings that we were before being placed in mortality. Mortal human beings are
situated in a world among peers and in societies wherein they all become consummate liars.
In a sense, mortal humans were meant to be liars, who are only able to “listen” from within to
the very code of humanity by which we all were foundationalized as human beings.
Few, for example, are willing to act contrary to their inbred humanity by telling an
obviously unattractive person that he or she is obviously unattractive. Few are willing to
violate their innate sense of kindness and compassion by telling the real truth to others in all
things, whether it concerns a hairdo or a dress that is less than appealing, preferring instead
to say, “Oh that looks nice on you.” Few are going to tell their partners what they think
about another attractive person, or how long they might find themselves dwelling on the
thought. Few are going to say that there is another person more attractive and enticing than
their own partner. Few are going to tell their partner that he or she is becoming overweight
and that they aren’t nearly as attracted to him or her as they were when they first met. And,
few are going to be honest about how they really feel about controversial issues and give
their honest opinion, when they know that, upon doing so, it is going to cause contention or
discomfort to another.
