“commanded” to lie. The gospel “commands” us to be kind, compassionate, and loving; to
not give our opinion; to not judge, measure, or in any other way treat a person differently
than one would like to be treated. But the only way to do this most of the time is—to lie.
True messengers understand, therefore, that everything about religion is a lie; and
they are instructed to work from the perspective of advanced human beings—to allow or perpetuate
lies for the good of the human race—for, without “lies,” there would be no way that
humankind could possibly understand and appreciate the real truth.
“God’s lies,” however, are not actually his, or rather those of our advanced human
creators, but are simply a reflection and perpetuation of whatever human free will comes
up with on its own. And, again, mortals are allowed to exist in a state where they would
lie to each other and where lying becomes part of their nature, therefore causing all kinds
of problems. As the result of all of these problems, the perfect environment has been
created in which mortals could experience an opposition of their true nature as perfect,
advanced, completely honest human beings.
True messengers, therefore, do lie, including lying about their true identity; but they
do so under the auspices, jurisdiction, and justification of Elohim’s lie. They understand the
importance of “lying for God,” (i.e., not always delivering the real truth to mortals).
Although Lucifer, as symbolically taught in Joseph’s temple endowment
presentation, told the real truth, he violated the code of humanity by taking away the free
will of Adam and Eve and telling them what to do. Elohim, on the other hand, gave them
their agency to discover on their own the truth about the commandments that he had given
them and to choose for themselves what they would do.
Humans could not have the ability to exercise unconditional free will unless they
were placed in a situation where they did not have the real truth. The real truth is that
all of our thoughts and actions are being observed and recorded by advanced monitors.
They are the ones who are responsible for the ultimate assignment of rights and powers
to free-willed human beings, to those who can then be trusted to utilize these powers
correctly in the further perpetuation of the human race. We and they need to know
which of us can be trusted as creators.
This “probationary state” could only be properly established in an environment
wherein real truth is completely concealed from us. In other words, mortal humans are a
caught in an intentional lie perpetuated by our creators about our true nature as advanced
human beings. Being placed in such a state allows us to be proven properly. In other words, it
allows us to act and be acted upon unimpeded by our natural desire to please our advanced
parents/creators/monitors, to whom we looked with respect and adoration. Having been
foundationalized around these types of beings from the beginning and recognizing that they
were, indeed, much more advanced in their ability to utilize their existence than we were, we
were motivated to want to be like them. However, to be fully developed humans like our
advanced creators, we had to be proven in the same manner as they were.
In the endowment, when Elohim and Jehovah put Michael to sleep, he was still
Michael when he awakened. However, subsequently, and synchronous with their
purposes, when Michael awakened, they were compelled by their purposes to give him a
new reality—i.e., they were now obliged to lie and tell him he was “Adam,” knowing he
could not remember that he was once Michael, an equal God to both Elohim and Jehovah.
