Joseph Smith Biography

(Grace) #1

Without Disclosing My True Identity

Eve, whom they allowed to be tempted by “Lucifer,” all the while never revealing the real
truth about what was really going on.
Thereafter, they put Adam and Eve in the “lone and dreary world” and sent true
messengers to teach them—even to lie to them more—by not disclosing their true identity.
By withholding the real truth from them until such time as Adam and Eve and their
posterity might be prepared and willing to receive the real truth, Elohim and Jehovah may
be perceived as lying to Adam.
Withholding the real truth and allowing a lie to perpetuate itself for the sake of those
who need to experience the effects of the “lie,” is the overall construct of our mortal
existence. True messengers who do NOT disclose their true identity are mandated to
support this construct according to the free will of the mortals who believe in and
perpetuate anything that is a lie (i.e., not real truth).
