Hammer
Wire cutters or tin snips
Hard, flat surface
Flat screwdriver
Nail set punch
Awl

(^1) ⁄ 16 ” drill bit
Handheld rotary tool, flex shaft, or drill press
File
Fine sanding pad
Two pairs of chain nose pliers
Flat nose pliers
Liver of sulfur or oxidizing solution
Safety glasses
Fine steel wool
Polishing cloth
MATERIALS NEEDED
3” 12-gauge copper wire
Two 5.3 × 3.2 mm sterling silver oval jump rings
Two 3/8” sterling silver discs
Two sterling silver ear wires
1.Use the ruler to measure and mark the
12-gauge copper wire. You will need two
pieces that are each 1H” long. Use the wire
cutters or tin snips to cut the wire.
